Baked Spaghetti

A casserole for you this week.....

This is one I did a couple weeks back for my Grandmother after a surgery she had. It was yummy yummy! This is my own personal recipe and have made this tons and tons of times! Grandma loved it and Im sure you will too. Its a great casserole to make to take for people. Enjoy!

Laura's Baked Spaghetti

1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 pound ground beef
1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes with liquid
1 (8 oz) can diced mushrooms, drained
1 tsp dried oregano
1 pkg spaghetti cooked and drained
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup water
1 (10.75 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a large skillet saute onion, green pepper and ground beef.


Once beef is brown and onion and green pepper softened, add the tomatoes, mushrooms and oregano. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.




Place half of the cooked spaghetti in a greased 9x13 inch pan. Top with half of meat mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat.

Mix cream of mushroom soup and water until smooth, pour over casserole.

Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
