Asian Noodles

I tried a new recipe tonight... Not sure it was one of my faves. But good enough to put on the blog, someone might like it! This is a quick recipe for someone wanting to put a hearty meal together really quickly. It is called Asian Noodles and is made with Ramen Noodles! :) Very different!

2 packages of beef flavored Ramen Noodles
2 pound boneless beef sirloin steak (I used beef stew tips)
1 jalapeno pepper seeded and finely chopped
2 TBS vegetable oil
4 TBS water
2 TBS steak sauce
1 large carrot, shredded
4 TBS sliced green onions
1/2 cup peanut halves

Set aside seasoning packet from noodles. Prepare noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
While noodles are cooking; cut steak into 3-in. x 1/2-in. strips. In a large skillet, stir-fry the beef and jalapeno in oil for 1-2 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Remove and keep warm.

In the same skillet, combine the noodles, water, steak sauce, carrot, onion and contents of seasoning packets. Cook and stir until heated through. Return beef to the pan. Sprinkle with peanuts. ENJOY!!!

I only took one picture. It kind of looks like a big pile of noodles with beef, but thats really what it is. And I guess thats what an asian style dish looks like anyway, so... Thats whats delectable for dinner tonight!
