Colorful Salads/ Shrimp Ceaser and Chicken & Edamame Salads!!!

Some basics for Easy, yet Delectable Salads this Summer!

Lance grilled some yummy shrimp the other night on the charcoal grill and it was DIVINE! Decided to toss some greens in ceaser salad slice up some tomatoes and Bam- had a mouth watering Grilled Shrimp Ceaser Salad!!!!

We also grilled chicken and pulled it apart for leftovers the second night and I put together a very colorful salad of Grilled Chicken, mixed greens and the best thing on a salad ever...... Edamame. It was WONDERFUL! Had never tried that before but will be always adding it to a fresh salad now! ENJOY!

OKAY...I know what you are thinking.........

I know you are thinking Im just blogging about food and what Im cooking because of the new Julia and Julie movie that has just come out. I would be lieing if I didnt say it at least spurred me on to a new idea since cooking is a MAJOR hobby of mine and a passion, but I have no intensions of going as far as documenting 524 recipes in 365 days either like the cute little movie did! I just thought it would be fun to blog about dinners I have created, "success' mainly, though Im sure a few failures will be blogged here and there to share with my friends and family. Anyone who knows me knows cooking and experimenting with new recipes is a hobby of mine. I even go as far as taking pictures of some of my meals I have experimented with. (I know Im a dork) I feel this will be a fun and exciting way to express myself, share a few good laughs along the way, "cause Im sure there will be many with new experiments", but to ultimately share great food with the ones I love. I am not setting any agendas or deadlines or even promises of a different recipe/meal a night, since this will just be fun and in spare "quiet time" which we know is rare with a 2 year old, but Im excited to see where this goes and hope you will find it maybe interesting to say the least. Who knows you might want to try a recipe or two. But here's to a new hobby/adventure for blogging and dining on some "Corder's Delectables" to come!
